A remote paralegal practice built for attorneys

Pacific Paralegal Group is a US-based remote team providing paralegal and litigation support to licensed attorneys and law firms — never to the public.

Most solo practitioners and small firms live with the same tension: the work arrives in waves, but staff costs don’t. Hiring ahead of need is expensive; falling behind a filing deadline is worse. We built Pacific Paralegal Group for exactly that gap — experienced paralegal support you can bring in when a matter heats up and release when it closes, with no minimums or retainers to carry.

We work as an extension of your practice. Every engagement begins with a defined scope, a conflict check, and a clear turnaround; every deliverable comes back to you for review and filing under your supervision as the licensed attorney. The core of our work — research, drafting, case management, discovery preparation, e-filing, and due diligence — is built to slot into your existing workflow, not to make you learn ours.

We’re deliberately building a practice for the long term: broad, verifiable experience across practice areas, candor about where our experience is deepest, and working relationships with attorneys who come back matter after matter.

Sebastian F. Oliveros

Paralegal

Supports family law and natural-resources/environmental matters, with hands-on litigation experience in drafting, discovery, and statutory/regulatory research.

Drafted all pleadings on a $15,000-retainer family law matter; managed the case file and client communication.
Independently produced 12,230 pages of discovery — scanning, Bates numbering, and redaction — and drafted 75+ deposition questions in a single matter.
Analyzed federal mining regulations (43 CFR 3830–3838), state law, and case law to draft location notices for placer mining claims.
Built mapping exhibits using ArcGIS and USGS topographic data.
Managed IOLTA trust accounting and monthly billing in Clio and QuickBooks; e-filed via Hawaii’s JEFS.

Ava J. Ignacio

Paralegal

Supports disability/injury law, natural resources, and family law matters with experience in environmental research, drafting, administrative support, and client intake.

Researched contacts and coordinated outreach to governmental, NGO, academic, and legal contacts at attorney direction.
Drafted engagement letters and confidentiality agreements; coordinated confidentiality checks as well as conference-call scheduling for client intake.
Conducted environmental sustainability research for Biomedical Engineering Systems Inc.; presented research to US Department of Defense representatives.
Placed third nationally in a research competition; presented environmental research at an international science fair.

Akshat Pandey

Paralegal

Supports criminal defense and DUI defense, with hands-on litigation experience in trial strategy, discovery review, and statutory/case law research.

Analyzed 25+ active felony and misdemeanor case files to develop trial strategy and pre-trial motions.
Researched 30+ DUI and criminal defense matters, helping author filings for misdemeanor and felony proceedings.
Reviewed and summarized 300+ pages of depositions, testimony, and briefs, and compiled 13 exhibits on a $5 million civil litigation matter.
Examined legal precedent across 10 cases to support arguments in a countersuit and a state supreme court matter.
Conducted 20+ client interviews, collecting initial testimony and leading intake.

All paralegal work is performed under the supervision and direction of the client’s licensed attorney.
